Tularemia Rash : How To Remember Easily ?

  • T – Tender papule evolves into necrotic, tender ulcer with raised borders.
  • U – Ulceroglandular form: erythematous.
  • L – Lymphadenopathy (swollen lymph nodes).
  • A – Acneiform, maculopapular, vesiculopapular, or urticarial eruptions may occur.
  • R – Raised borders are present in the ulcer.
  • E – Erythema nodosum may occur.
  • M – May be transmitted through exposure to ticks, biting flies, or infected animals.
  • I – Infected animals can transmit the disease.
  • A – Animals and ticks are sources of transmission.
