Sweet Syndrome Rash : How To Remember Easily ?

 

B – Blue edematous nodules give the impression of vesiculation.

L – Lower extremities may mimic erythema nodosum.

U – Upper respiratory infection can be a cause.

E – Erythematous nodules are tender and red.

N – Nodules are more common among women and persons 30-60 years old.

O – On the face, neck, and upper extremities, the nodules are usually found.

D – Drugs like G-CSF can be associated with this condition.

U – Upper respiratory infection and inflammatory bowel disease are risk factors.

L – Leukocytosis can be present in this condition.

E – Early Yersinia infection can be a cause.

S – Sweet Syndrome can be associated with malignancy.
