  • H – Hydrostatic pressure reduced in peritubular capillaries.
  • E – Enhanced salt and water reabsorption.
  • N – Natriuretic effect diminished.
  • L – Loop of Henle involved in water reabsorption.
  • E – Edema formation increased.
  • L – Loop diuretics act on ascending limb.
  • O– Osmotic pressure raised in peritubular capillaries.
  • O– Octapeptide angiotensin II constricts renal efferent arterioles.
  • P – Proximal tubule involved in salt and water reabsorption.
