How To Remember Acute Aortic Syndrome Signs & Symptoms?

Acute aortic syndrome is a group of conditions in which the aorta, the main blood vessel that carries oxygenated blood from the heart to the rest of the body, has sudden and severe problems. Aortic dissection, intramural hematoma, and penetrating aortic ulcer are some of these conditions.

These are considered to be medical emergencies that need to be diagnosed and treated right away. Acute aortic syndrome can cause severe chest or back pain, trouble breathing, and a fast heartbeat, among other things.

Acute aortic syndrome is more likely to happen if you have high blood pressure, an aortic aneurysm, or a history of the condition in your family. Most of the time, surgery is needed to fix or replace the damaged part of the aorta.
