COVID-19 Rash : How To Remember Easily ?
C – COVID-19 SARS-CoV-2: The virus causing the disease.
O – Occur on trunk and extremities: The rash can be found on these body parts.
V – Vesicles, urticaria, maculopapular erythema: Common skin manifestations of moderate/severe COVID-19.
I – It is often pruritic: The rash is often itchy.
D – Dyspnea, ARDS: Severe cases of COVID-19 can lead to breathing difficulties and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
R – Retiform purpura: Severe COVID-19 can cause net-like purple patches/plaques often with necrosis.
A – Asymptomatic to mild/moderate: The range of symptoms experienced by individuals.
S – Thrombosis and taste/smell loss: Complications of COVID-19, including blood clotting and loss of taste/smell.
